I transferred to TU from a REAL university, namely, Washington University in St. Louis, for complicated reasons. BIG MISTAKE. TU is simply not run as a serious place. You can see that on its Wikipedia page of what it considers "notable alumni." Most of them are athletes!

I got a math degree at the age of 26 after changing majors about three times, but the whole experience of going there demoralized me. Around the time I turned 30, after years of trying to make my math degree pay off, I realized that it was just not going to open any doors for me, so I lost interest in mathematics and wrote off my college education as a waste. I've given serous thought to having TU revoke my degree and wipe out all records of my attendance there to demonstrate what I think of its reputation. Transferring from a proper university to a ridiculous sham like TU just defeats the purpose of going to university in the first place.
