I felt that this school was a waste of time and money. I live in New Jersey and decided to go to school out of state, because I wanted to get away from home and thought that it would be a nice change of pace.Alvernia was one of the out of state schools that accepted me and two of their sports teams recruited me to play there, so I decided to attend. This school was a joke! The campus was beautiful, but there is hardly any parking ever and you are forced to park in designated parking lots that are located nowhere near the dorm rooms or class rooms. The food is horrible for the money that you spend to go there, and they serve pretty much the same thing every week. The education that I received was fairly decent but the social life at Alvernia is non existent. Mostly everyone that attends alvernia university are commuters, so they always seem like they are in a rush to and from class. The surrounding area sucks and is pretty boring. Overall this school is a 2 out of 10 |
