I have had some many amazing experiences while attending Marymount that I am sure I would have not received at any other schools that were on my list. Faculty/Staff - The faculty and staff on Marymount's campus are extremely friendly, not only speaking to you constantly but knowing you by name and inquiring about your well being. I remember one time I was extremely ill and had to go home for a few weeks and my professors were extremely helpful and understanding, and wishing me the best in my health and informing me to drink lots of water. Student Life - College would not be college if you did not get involved on campus, and I have definitely taken advantage of all that Marymount has to offer for students. I have held officer positions in several clubs like our Black Student Alliance and Fashion Club. There are mutlipe things to do during the week like attending Open Mic night on Wednesday's in Bernie's [one of our dining halls] and catching some awesome movies on Tuesday and Thursdays. During the weekend, besides hitting the books for a little bit, I room hop around campus and visit my friends and watch movies, and certain clubs host dance parties on campus and bring in a DJ, so we can get our dance on *raises roof* |
