I went to Grace to complete my bachelor's degree in Psychology as a non-traditional student in their Excel program. While I received my degree, I have not found this particular major very valuable in my workplace. (This is likely because of the type of degree and not the university.) I greatly appreciated the Bible-based curriculum and the intense workload. (Be warned, you will have to do a lot of reading and writing. I did not take any tests.) The teachers in Excel, were typically helpful, easy to contact, but a few did not return my final papers. All teachers in Excel hold adjunct status since they have master's degrees but they do hold careers allowing them to share useful information about the workplace. Excel's psychology program is perfect if you are interested in pursuing a Master's degree in counseling. You can easily transition into their Master's program if you hold a high GPA. |
