It would be something that would truly need to be witnessed in my character. You know, "Florida College" is not just a school, neither is it "just" the people. The Faculty & Staff cared MOST about my life, how I was doing - if I was ok. They wanted the best for me and my interests, rather than pushing what would be considered "best" in this world. Academics are, indeed, challenging - but it is even more challenging knowing that my professors count on me to succeed. They count on my dignity as a student, and I appreciated that.Campus life is extremely valuable, spiritually and otherwise. Societies are fun to be involved in - and we are pushed to get involved in every way. It's awesome.I enjoyed spending an equal amount of time with teachers as I did students. Who can say that they ate in the Dean's home two Sunday's in a row? Who can say that their professor and his wife invited them to go to dinner? It's great being so involved to the point that teachers and students can be helpful to one another. |
