Its a big school, but if you live on campus like i do, soon you will see just how friendly everybody is… this is a community, and a good one at that. We all have eachothers backs, and no matter what you are into, you will find people here that you will get along with very well because UML is truly a melting pot of different personalies. Overall I am having a great experience here (maybe some more girls would be good, its about 30%), but dont let that stop you from coming to a university where you will have a good time and be able to truly focus on your education. I got into Suffolk, Wentworth, Keene, Plymouth, Umass Amherst, and UNH… but overall I am so happy i choose UML. Its not a utopia here or anything, of course there are a few negatives, but its a great place that focuses on education and community. Really there is nothing to complain about! Umass is great not for what it has, but what it doesnt; social cliques, high pressure, or crazy parties all the time that distract you from getting a great education. just keep that in mind! |
