However, after you complete your first two years, which consist of mostly core courses, you have to apply, yet again, to a specific department. You must have a GPA of at least 3.5 in order to most health science programs such as: nursing, dietetics, nutrition, health care management, physical therapy, or occupational therapy. So it is better to complete your core courses at the community college and then apply for health science programs at TWU and other universities that have the program you?re interested in. It is extremely difficult to get into the department program you?re interested in; you may even be put on a waiting list if there are no spots left. |
