Chapels are great, and people are friendly. Professors are very helpful and easy to reach, but academically, Cornerstone is not incredibly challenging. Grand Rapids is a great area, with lots to do. Campus is very safe, and nice. It is not as strict as some say it is. People can make their own fun. A few things that I was not impressed with are the math professors. They just can't teach. The food is mostly fried, but they do always have a salad bar and cereal. Printing papers can be very frustrating, because the printers are ALWAYS down. There isn't much to do on campus, but Grand Rapids has lots to offer. Cornerstone does not have a lot of options academically either, but if you know what you are going into and Cornerstone has it, it is a good college. Just do not go here if you are majoring in math. I taught myself everything that I learned in my math class, and I have heard the same from other people.Even with the problems, Cornerstone is a great environment, and I have grown A LOT in my relationship with Christ here. |
