I didn't take the college application process too seriously (I only looked at 3 schools). Since I was the first in my family to attend college, no one really knew what to do or expect. When I went for an on campus visit I just seemed to fit right in. It is not a school for everyone because it is quite small, but it's exactly what I was looking for. I enjoyed my professors, especially Dr. Sprunger and Dr. Witwer (who is no longer there). I graduated with a degree in economics thinking I was going to work on Wall Street or attend law school, but I fell in love with tutoring and ended up becoming a teacher. I still believe that a liberal arts education is the best way to go because it made me a much more well rounded individual. Campus life is fun and the dorms & food are okay. I participated in Habitat for Humanity, the Campus Activities Board, and the Judicial Board. I even met my husband there and we got married on campus by the campus minister Marco Hunsberger (who has retired). I would highly recommend this school to any student looking for a small campus that provides a well rounded education. |
