At first I loved the school, my admissions counselor was great and my original financial counselor was great. But once you get through the enrolment process and take your first course you get thrown to the wolves.

I chose this school because I thought it was going to be convenient, man was I wrong. I take one class at a time, and I feel like I am in school full time. I have homework for one class every night. They tried to talk me into taking more than one class so I could maximize my financial aid etc. I could not imagine taking more than one class. I can hardly find the time to do all of the work for one. I am a single mother with two active children. The instructors are NOT understanding, and are not willing to work with you. I had one instructor that had NO clue what she was doing. It was a nightmare, if I asked her a question about an assignment, I was told to look up the answer that she could not do the work for me? I was withdraw from class because I had to have emergency surgery, due cancer and I was told that if I took the time off (two weeks) that I would be withdrawn from the class as well as the school because I was only taking one class and I would have to go through the enrolment process again.

I have been attending the online division for over a year now. I receive student loans/financial aid. I have not had any issues until the last three months. I was charged a duplicate supply fee of around $400; it took almost 5 weeks to get a refund. And now we are approaching week 6 and my financial aid has yet to be applied to my balance, they had NO problem using up my student loans, but they are dragging their feet with the Pell grant. Meanwhile I receive a bill once a week requesting payment for my balance. I filled out my FAFSA in April, and the school has yet to process it! WTF???

Getting a hold of my financial counselor is like pulling teeth, it either goes right to voice mail or rings a few times and then I am sent to voice mail. Today is Thursday I left a message on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and again today, as well as sent an email and have yet to get a response.

I am at wits end and I really do not know what to do, I was attempting to transfer schools for the fall session, and due to these issues and lack of responses I have missed the deadline for class registration at the local cc that I was going to attend. NOT TO mention all of my classes at AIO are none transferable. So I 7 classes and $17k down the drain (just in student loans)

Not sure what else I can do at this point, I have asked for management and have yet been able to speak to someone. ??
