While ASU's only major flaw is lack of night life, the area is what you make of it. These reviews don't really reflect the current ASU. Most people are very friendly, the professors are all wanting to be there and aren't just wanting to build themselves and their area of study up in cost of attendance and are always accessible, the class sizes are rather small which really allows you to interact as a class in discussions, and the campus is really beautiful and a lot of changes are being made to landscaping making it nice to walk around campus. While San Angelo is rather bland, having a good group of friends to hang out with is a lifesaver. Local hotspots like Francos, Seeley Flats, Cork & Pig, and the bowling alley/movie theater are all the frequent weekend spots to visit for good food and fun. |
