Horrible School. There isn't enough time nor room for me to list all the things wrong with this place so I will list only the most important. THE STAFF ARE NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. Of course financial aid is the worst. In the two and a half years I spent there, I got a human being on the phone TWICE! I seldom had any emails returned and forget about ever getting there when there is not a line. This is not the only department like this, oh no. Evaluations does not contact you either. I had to email a supervisor on more than one occasion to get a response. Forget about your call being returned. When inquiring in person, you get a lazy condenscending response that's always the same,

The person you need to talk to isn't in the office, I can have to leave them a message though.
Hmmm..they haven't returned my numerous phone calls and emails, but I'm sure that leaving a sticky note will get me a response!

If you aren't being ushered to the bottom of the contact pile then your dealing with the incessant immaturity of all your 17 year old classmates. Yes I understand that running start is a wonderful program to get all those little kids through college as fast as possible because I know I love when my insurance company hands me over to a 25 year old just out of medical school. But I digress. The point I'm making is that I feel for educational purposes along with preventing all other irritations in life, having majority of the school body consisting of 17, 16, even 15 year olds hardly makes for a professional and educational atmosphere.

Almost all of my classes involved group work of course so when I am grouped together with four 17 year olds, you can imagine how these group projects evolve. Almost all of these little kids are completely taking their opportunity for granted and I don't know how long or for how many classes you can completely dink around and consistently pull bad grades but I have seen some of them do it for almost a year. It's a small school so I have seen alot of the same retards bounce in and out of more than one class for many months. When paired with one of them for a project, I have considered many times dropping out of the class myself just so I can retain some sanity elsewhere.

The teachers are alot of times a joke as well. Yes I have had a handful of pretty good ones that made a decent impression on me but it was far and few in between. I've had the teacher that doesnt stop talking about herself and her entire life history from birth to recent during lecture hour. So when everyone in class is pulling bad grades on the exams she asks briefly why no one is understanding before starting another story about fishing with her husband. Hmmm. I've had the busy work teacher that assigned so much work she seemed to forget that most students there had other classes besides hers and didn't seem to notice students dropping like flies. And at the end of the course, while I can say I was very busy throughout the quarter, I couldn't tell you a darn thing I learned.

Nice huh? Well if you think so then please register now, other wise stay away from this school. There are a hundred other community colleges to attend and with online learning becoming more prevalent, I don't see such a desperate need to be on campus for an AA. Let the little high school monsters take it over because it's really looking like thats the route community college is going to take. Why have a high school? Just clump all the 9th and 10th grade students with middle school and dump all the junior and seniors in with the colleges.
