The online degree completion programs are a good value, however the coursework is writing focused rather than test focused. This format was probably chosen since there could be validity issues with online testing, so be prepared to write on average of 2 papers (often 2-4 pages in length) per week. It's not difficult to complete the required weekly assignments; which generally consist of a reading assignment, one or two discussion questions, one or two papers, and sometimes a powerpoint presentation. At the end of each class you are expected to write an 8-10 page summary paper. Professor's tend to be a little generous with grading as long as students put forth the effort. With each class averaging about 5 weeks in length, Tiffin's accelerated online degree completion programs could be a good choice if you are in a hurry to graduate. |
