NJIT, they have top notch academics……yea short positive list.

Total enrollment period - 2 hours(thats how bad the screwed up everything on my file, had to unenroll ASAP)

Just because i was enrolled for 2 hours, doesnt mean i dont know what im talking about here.

Lets see - advertised in state price(the one they flash around at open houses, viewbooks, etc.) - $22,000(roughly). Sounds pretty decent for tuition and fees, plus room and board.

Actual Price(the one you see at the financial aid workshop, but cant believe and then you get your bill and your jaw drops)

  • roughly @35,000. Pretty big gap right there.
  • This place seems fine at Open Houses and Experience day, everyone is cheerful and the place is alive, but take notice to who is telling you this information. Just keep a look out.

Miniveristy is here and you go to check in, Put your stuff down and head to the Campus Center. From here on out its pure hell. All you do is play 3 year old games all day for magical points that gets you a free game room pass if you win.

The first words you hear at orientation is your not an enrolled student. So i did all this stuff to go here and im not even enrolled yet. But dont complain or try to escape because they will make you come back. They know its hell, and the best punishment is making you come to another Miniversity. The food sucks, you cant eat the real food the students eat cause your not a student. So after hours of pointless games, you get your freedom.. Even though all you can do is relax on the green(at night, not the best idea), try to order food from somewhere decent(places like to play dumb when too many orders come in…) and play pool or ping pong on old, near broken tables. Plus you only get 1 1/2 hours to do this since curfew is at 12 midnight. THIS IS COLLEGE, THERE IS NO DAMN CURFEW.

All in all, before i lose my mind(trust me i have alot more to say). This place sucks, im mad that i cant see some friends i made there, but factoring in all the fake kids, worthless fsculty(especially the one who makes the plans for Miniveristy), and overall bad experience. Im happy to not be there and to actually have an chance to pick a better college
