Statistical Analyzer:

The curriculum at this institution is a JOKE. For all the hubub about raising tuition, I think they weren't justified in doing so because the quality of the courses and degrees they offer are NOT up to even passible standards. Good luck with the degree you get from this school, because your diploma will probably be nothing more than a $60,000 piece of toilet paper to most employers. The professors are consistently unhelpful and rarely teach you anything worth knowing.

The other departments are just as unhelpful and actually conniving to an extent. The Financial Aid Department thrives on making students miserable, and lied to me and several of my classmates on several occasions. The most malignant mistruth being that they regularly tell students that the AKAdvantage loan program is a federal loan, when it's an inescapable private loan with ridiculously high interest (the school actually gets kick-backs whenever someone signs up for AKAdvantage, mind you).

The Residence Life department is incredibly cut-throat. The current heads, Laura McCollough and Jamie Napolski, are nothing but a bunch of overpaid bullies. They look for every opportunity to fine residents, lie through their teeth about being understanding while filing the paperwork to have a student fined and evicted with the two hands they have behind their backs. They also treat their employees like crap, to the point where they actually treat residents slightly better than their employees. Student employees especially are constantly threatened and bullied into submission, told that they'll be fired if they voice ANY grievances about the work they're given, or have to take off from work for a family emergency, or are accused of "staging a coup" when they attempt to defend themselves. If you have to go to this school, avoid staying in the dorms or visiting them altogether, because McCollough and Napolski have gone out of their way to making a miserable experience for anyone living there and anyone working under them.
