I did some research and decided on UTSA because yes, it is actually a very good school. It is a division one school. It is also on the path to becoming a tier one school as well. UTSA, in my mind, is no doubt the best (academically) university you can attend in the state WHEN it comes to less-known, newer school. However, since no one else will say it I will…it is a school for minorities, to be specific, latinos in general. I would have to say over half of the student body is some type of latino. There is nothing wrong with this I just think writing a review with this fact in it will help others when they read this. To continue, it is also a very lame school. I transferred to a D2 school from UTSA and it is WAY more fun. If you see a bunch of positive comments about UTSA, my bet is that person never attended another school. The social setting at UTSA and San Antonio is pretty much awful. I'm not even rich but man, it would be nice to look at the faces of some pretty white girls. There are hardly ANY AT ALL at UTSA. Good school. Good facilities. Good staff. Unfortunately, the school itself is virtually unknown to rest of the world and the city of San Antonio is honestly, my least favorite place in Texas. If you're just a normal white guy/girl who wants to have a good time and meet cool people while in college, UTSA is not the place, I promise you. |
