Including; renovations for Science hall (from paint, chairs, roof, elevator), Main Hall bathrooms (gutted, new everything), new side walks, along with MANY renovations at the barn, and new horses every year!! Also they are starting events to coincide with downtown events, art and exhibits! VI is a wonderful small town college, lots of charm, wonderful teachers and great sports. Yes there are negatives, isn't there with any school? As for a 'social life' - it's a college, of course there are things to do, parties, the lake, Johnson City, not to mention the student life director plans trips and activities ALL the time, white water rafting, hiking, skiing, bands!! Ask questions at open house, talk to students, research online - figure out if VI is the right college for you before going! |
