As I read through the reviews, I could not help but write one of my own. Here is the truth: Bowie State is not the best school in the State but you definitely get your money's worth. Classes are only as challenging as you make it, if you get to the point where the work is too easy then you should let your professor know, If you need help, let your professor know. Your experience at Bowie is truly up to you. I have fun, and believe it or not, there are plenty of things to do on campus. Plenty of programs! It is up to you to utilize them. Yes, you have weed, and parties, but its COLLEGE! I'm not condoning it, but they do the same thing at College Park! the only difference is that we are an HBCU. I will give it too you, the people (especially the females)are a little snooty. Other than that, the school is pretty good. Professors are helpful, academics are wonderful. You truly have to make your experience yours! :)
