She was advised that I would need to have to acquire a "parent plus" loan through Sallie. She was told that she would graduate with a RN degree in a little over a year and a half. What she wasnt told was that she would have to obtain a 80 or better grade in each class. Pharmacology is not an easy class, I struggled with it! So when she got a 75 or a 78, they promptly dismissed her. This was in her first semesterAlso the school received almost $9,000 from the loan that I signed, then demanded an additional $1300 from her in cash.I turned this matter over to the Attorney General, but it seems that a "private" school can do whatever they want.We spent over $10,000 for one semester. We will be paying this loan back over the next ten years. Sallie had better hope I live long enough to pay it!So my daughter is no closer to obtaining her goal, and I am now in debt for what was a waste of time.My advice for any prospective student and PARENT is RUN.This school is a ripoff! My advice to any |
