I have a master's degree in a different field, 20 years work experience, and made a career change. FHCHS is pricey and typical of most colleges when it comes to getting the occasional runaround. You are going to do it their way or hit the highway. You also should be very self-driven to study a lot during your free time if you expect to get A's. Some prerequisite courses are busy work and A's are very achievable. But you will need to buckle down once you enter the nursing program. I recommend 2 hours of study for every hour of class time. If you are a low B to C student, YOU WILL NOT make it through the nursing program here. This is not a place for half steppers and if you don't study you shouldn't waste your time or money. The Campus is clean, modern, and not the ghetto scene you find at most community college campuses in and around Orlando. It is faith-based so you will be required to take religion classes. If you respect people's beliefs and go with the flow nothing will be crammed down your throat. |
