When I first started this program, I noticed that the school was never prepared and didnt offer much to the night program, but the instructor I had was amazing and the good out weighed the bad at that point. The same went for my seond semester, although more and more I was seeing that the school did nothing to anable the students success yet they were eager to get the money for tuition. My third semester has been horrible. The instructors are like a group of sorority sister who dont want you to join their nursing group. They dont want to answer your questions, they refuse to go over test with you in a proper manor, they owe students points on exams and then never calculate them into their averages. Some of the instructors are more worried about getting home instead of teaching a detailed lecture. If you join the night program, be ready to have your job threatened to be taken away as the school schedules mandatory classes and clinicals during the day forcing you to take over 6 days off in 3 months. I want this school to be reviewed by NYSNA so they can see who they have representing nursing. I am a top student who is now in the edge of failing because of test questions that are being "reviewed" or changed, instructors that want you to drop their course after 2 weeks in their class, and a dean who moves on to better things, probably becuase she didnt want to be involved with the way Cochran treats their students who are paying good mney for a horrible education. The ONLY thing that is good about this school are the clinicals. You get your experience there. |
