The school's education quality is amazing. The students and staff are always very friendly and helpful, you will not find a more welcoming campus. The social life is different, Morris is a small school offering large amounts of diversity (that is, compared to most schools). You will not find a large group of people here who's interest match yours. You will find a few close friends and get to explore different cultures and types of people in a manner unavailable at most schools. The education and students at Morris will push you to explore yourself, the world, and others in ways it was difficult for me to imagine with having experienced it. Morris is not for everyone, people who are looking for a party school, a large campus, or to simply to handed an education would probably not like it. It is something of a second chance school for those looking for a great education but only had good grades. A couple good things about Morris in comparison to the University I attended previously include small class sizes, short walks (good in the winter), friendly faculty (University profs tend to suck at having personalities, something about teaching 100 students a semester does that to someone), and reading and writing are stressed (the liberal arts empathize this and it is very helpful in the real world). I love Morris, and would recommended it to anymore seeking a quality education. |
