I have to say, it's not for everyone. Gordon is a beautiful campus, it's small, and the people are extremely nice. The academics are challenging, so be ready. The courseload is immense, and some have a hard time handling this. If you were an A, B, or even C student, you'll be alright. I love being in a Christian atmosphere, but it's not always apparent. I had originally thought (before coming) I would be at a school full of people who were really religious, and never did anything bad, but everyone is really normal. I would say the campus consists of hipsters, and pretty much normal people who listen to mainstream music, and like to have fun. The library even has the 40 year old virgin, so really, it's not that uptight. There are some bad kids, and parties, but they are not that easy to find. If you are a partier, than don't even consider going. You will transfer. The weekends aren't that exciting, and it's not exactly easy to get off campus without a car. But I have to say, I love it at Gordon, and it's a school to be looked at! |
