I was in the Art Dept- which basically runs the show at this college. They broke me to pieces and spit me out. I had no idea of the caliber of the program I was in (I have since done graduate studies towards my masters which have not been as rough as getting through Skidmore's art major). I was not really involved in any other majors so I will not speak for them. But honestly- I could not have been more prepared for whatever task is thrown my way in the work world. I have a job. In this shit ass economy I was able to find one. And Yes- this school is weird. If you are a normal, happy, uneventful person who enjoys the same breakfast every morning- this school will throw you off your rocker. It is full of untraditional, crazy, odd kids and it is certainly an acquired taste. Garnish with cherry and drink up. |
