Being a young mother and wife I have a very busy schedule. When I came to Castleton they lied to me about Soundings. They made it seem like a class or something that was no big deal. This was not the case. Soundings is a series of "events" that are required to graduate. These "Events" are not as great as everyone makes it out to be. On top of charging hundreds of dollars for this big waste of time, the shows that you are required to go to are completely stupid and unenjoyable. I continuously hear from Freshmen that the school also lied to them about what Soundings really is.By the way, there is absolutely no way of getting out of this. The majority of these events are at night, so if you are a parent prepare for some stress. Also, there is no way to drop soundings as a first year student, you have to just fail it. So, you your law school bound stay clear of this disaster called Castleton. |
