Statistical Analyzer: DUPLICATE,

SAIC is a world renowned school but it was rare that I felt that I was getting a world renowned education. The facilities are awesome and they have everything you need to MAKE great art. The classes were small 9 students most the time max 100. People here are extremely unfriendly and most are very snooty, hey to each his own. I am a very friendly person and I am outgoing. For critiques I would be making most of the comments while everyone else sits in dead silence. Mind you Crits lasts hours. The classes are over \(3,000 a pop and I rarely felt I was receiving what I was paying for. This sem. I had an instructor who talked about himself the entire class and assigned us alot of readings. That is not worth 3000\) to me. My first photo class I had an instructor who showed us Youtube videos the entire class. I could have done that at home and that was a waste of money. Mainly every one just ends up on their laptops the whole 6 or 3 hr class. Some instructors are wonderful but they can be hard to come by. They are the ones who come up with a plan and teach and not just BS a syllabus like alot of the instructors did. If you want the biggest bang for your buck go into fashion at this school but you will work as hard as a slave lol. Being at this school is a freak show everyday I laughed so hard everyday. Hardly anything they offer here is worth the asking price except the equipment avalible. Take advantage of this but you might not be able to because your instructor might not authorize you on it due to their big mouth.
