I attend the campus in Los Angeles. It seems the sad, bitter individuals in New York who know not how to cope with not being invited back to second year revert instead to posting anonymous comments which defame (most of) the faculty. I am appalled at the immaturity of these comments; attacking a woman who apparently has cancer, derogatory remarks at someone's sexual orientation. This is all these comments provide, as there is no in depth criticism as to why these teachers "suck". Granted, I have not had these teachers, however, there is no backing evidence as to why these teachers fell short of the poster's standards. To listen to these resentful individuals is unwise. Additionally, you CAN get an Associates Degree in Arts (A.A.) by taking some core classes at an approved college, if you wish.

As for the Los Angeles campus, Mrs. Hayes is the loveliest director of instructor one could possibly imagine. She has a "can do" attitude and genuinely cares about the growth of everyone who attends the school. She is very easy to talk to. Ms. Beck and Ms. Brennan serve as the Voice and Speech teachers; they both know what they are doing, and devote time after school to helping students rid of their accents, or helping you master an accent. Mr. Martin serves as an acting teacher and is brilliant. His no nonsense approach may be deemed as harsh to some, but for the serious actor, it is honest. Rather than pampering you, he tells it as it is. Mr. Hart is the Vocal Production (singing) teacher. He excels at this position, and has a very detailed knowledge of what he teachers. Mrs. Nichols serves as (one of) the Movement (dance) teachers. She, too, takes a no nonsense approach. her pace may be too quick for some, but keep focused and you'll manage. Mr. Knowles is another Movement teacher. To work with him is a pleasure. He has the experience and the patience that is needed. Mr. Reiniger works as the Camera Fundamentals/Acting for the Camera teacher. He was in the original Dawn of the Dead (just a fun fact) and he too is a terrific teacher. Mrs. Hensel serves as the Styles (Classical theater) teacher. I can not begin to describe how brilliant of a teacher she is because anything I say will not do her justice. She is both knowledgeable about the industry and about what she teaches. Before her, Shakespeare was about as foreign to me as cornettos (I'm American!)

All in all, the school is a terrific place to grow and learn the craft.

Robert Redford, Spencer Tracy Danny Devito, Adrien Brody, Paul Rudd, Kimm Cattrall and many other can't be wrong.
