For this to be my third school transferring too, I was quite amazed. Now don't get caught up in the hype of its beauty because when it comes to more important factors such as funding for out of state students and professors, they lack it on so many different levels. Firstly, I am an out of state student. Coming from two previous colleges dealing with financial aid, Kennesaw was by far the WORSE!!!! Everytime i asked them was there any other way i could possibly receive extra funds or scholorships or even grants i can look into, all they would say is "go look online." Now someone please tell me what is so helpful about that!!!! I found myself getting pissed and over stressing myself out because they werent willing to work with me or even allowing me to do a payment plan. Also housing is full of shit! They DO NOT match you up with someone that meets your roommate standards! The food on campus is pretty shitty and the people DO NOT wear gloves!!! That is beyond disgusting. Academic wise, I LOVED my psychology classes! All of the professors take pride in their teaching. They actually teach! They are always up for discussion and are even willing to help after class! Class sizes are small for the most part but just because they are doesnt mean you arent still considered a number! It could be only 30 students in a class and the damn teacher still doesnt know your name! like come on seriously! If you live in Georgia then yes this school is probably for you when it comes down to financially. |
