I wish I had looked more into the school, and I will be transferring next semester as a junior. The school attitude is terrible, everyone dislikes it here. It's declining more and more every semester, even my friends that graduated years ago have said so. It's just really obvious that this school is in disrepair from an incompetent president and now that she is retiring early, were just kind of left with a sucky campus. Hopefully the new pres will take over and do something great but I won't stick around to watch it probably not happen. Oh, and if you plan on coming to this school I hope you don't need a library cause we don't have one. Construction is literally taking over the entire campus and it is so ugly. And us crazy student body needs a library, but instead the school gave us nothing. The SMC is beautiful, I will say that. The students are pretty arrogant and closeminded but of course, there are some wonderful people that I have met here. The psychology program is kind of a joke. Most of the professors are nice but there aren't many opportunities to "stand out" in the major. There basically isn't a psych club either, which I wanted to get into when I started but all you do is watch movies, it's really lame. Although I have heard great things about the teaching program, and I do think that is the only gem of Millersville. All in all, if you want to be mediocre Millersville is a great school. The money you spend here honestly won't be worth your education as they raise tuition so much because of construction every year. |
