The school does not care for the student's future. They will say they do, but thats just a line in their brochure to attract more students. The truth is schools like New York Institute of Technology are after your money. It is a BUSINESS. What you pay for the school, does not match with what you are getting from the school. There are so many negative things I can say about the school, but it would just go on and on. I will say four important examples that every parent and student should be award of. Classes are Limited. maybe 1 or 2 professors teach a specific class therefore you have to follow their schedule. Many of the professors do not know how to teach students effectively. Many of them give A's like candy. The office staff. My goodness…to sum it up, they are rude, sarcastic and unapproachable. And finally tuition, $12,500 - $13,500 per semester. A lot of money for a subpar…everything. FYI, Their TuitionPay does not allow credit cards for monthly payments which makes paying for tuition more difficult.MY advice is to RECONSIDER and choose a school that can fulfill your needs to have a better and successful future. |
