After transferring from a commuter college closer to home, I loved my years at OU. They gave me confidence, social skills, subject knowledge, love of learning, love of nature, and spiritual guidance. These traits have seen me through graduate school and several career advancements. My advice is you get one chance to go to college. Take the opportunity, take the time to figure out what you want, be led by your strengths and your passions, work on those traits you know you need to improve, and don't take yourself too seriously. Make every day count for something or someone.
