However, I have found differently. I am a senior accounting major and have applied for many jobs and graduate schools. No one has heard of Hendrix and no one really cares about Hendrix because it is not an "Accredited" school. Though some classes challenged me to the expected potential, others were severly slacking. My main point is that Hendrix calls themselves a "well-respected" school, but when it comes down to it they are not.Even as close as 2.5 hours away have not heard of Hedrix. Unless you plan on getting a job in Little Rock or Conway, you are going to have a hard time. That is my main issue with Hendrix. I chose Hendrix because it was a local school claiming to be comparable to the ivy leagues. If I had known that was completely false, I would have traveled further for my degree. |
