These were very lonely years for me and I'm so sad that I spent my college years at such a bizzare and disturbing place. Since I was so unhappy at Hampshire, I simply pursued a course of study that would enable me to graduate as quickly as possible. My advice to anyone who does not share a far left leaning political ideology is to avoid Hampshire College at all costs. Reading reviews by recent students, I see that things haven't changed there in the 36 years since I graduated.I view my time at Hampshire as the "lost years." If you are a Christian, be forewarned that you are entering into enemy territory where your most cherished values will be arrogantly challenged and disrespected by many. |
