The science teachers have been making it very difficult to pass the classes and the scores are not curved. In one of my science classes, almost 40% had to drop to avoid failing the class. Dropping a major science class means it will take you another year to graduate. Many students also have to take easier non-required filler math/science classes that you would not have otherwise taken to build up your grade point average. An extra year to complete your program means another year of costly tuition I can barely afford. And this is still no guarantee you will get into their pharmacy program. Also, you need a LOR from a pharmacist to get into the pharmacy school. Many I talked to are having an extremely difficult time finding a place to volunteer to get that reference. Needless to say attending this school has been extremely stressful and disappointing. I hope someone in their administration reads this and changes things because I am not the only one who feels this way. |
