I can proudly say that I have wasted the last four years of my life at Cornell University. I have learned absolutely nothing, and I cannot wait to get out of this hell hole. Other than the beautiful campus (which is ruined by the shitty weather), the faculty sucks (all of my bio classes are taught by random asians who don't speak ANY ENGLISH), the people are uber-preppy and all they care about is getting wasted, and they all have an inferiority complex. As for the competitiveness, people try to be competitive but usually fail because they really are not the brightest of the bunch. Half the people I have met just chill out with some crappy hotel major only to go apply for law school or med school when they graduate. There's absolutely no one who is interested in anything intellectual like history or economics and can actually have a discussion about such topics. All they want to do is party, study, or eat. Lastly, the biology/sciences department here is AWFUL. You'd expect better from a school in the middle of the woods, but nope, like I said before the faculty barely speak english and everyone is ridiculously inept and slow the class down for the few smart people in the entire University.
