JBU is a good school, but like every other school it has its negatives. Lets start off with the positives. JBU has great academics, and is ranked number one in the southern region. For the most part, you will be challenged. There are no easy A's or B's. You must earn your grade. Everyone is friendly which makes it easy for everyone to make friends. As for the professors, there are some that i like, and some that i do not like. The dorms are extremely nice. The campus is small but nice. Negatives: Siloam Springs, Arkansas is really boring. There is nothing to do. I am being completely honest. The town has like 15000 people. The downtown is only one block long. Everyone hangs out in Fayetville, which is 30 minutes away from JBU. Also, University of Arkansas is located there. If you go to JBU make sure you have a car!! The food sucks really bad here. Its inedible sometimes.Overall:: JBU is a good school, i would recommend for anyone to come here but expect to work hard. Do not expect a party school.JB |
