It was definitely not the worst place, but was not the most friendly to humanities students. The college sees itself as specializing in "Professionalism" but really, its in professional studies. It's not bad if you want to be a nurse, teacher, or middle management, but I was quite possibly the person least prepared in my graduate program. There was a small hardworking faculty in my department, but the standards didn't prepare me at all for what came later. The school bragged that it operated in the black, but neglected to mention that they did this via exploitation of adjuncts (far too many classes were taught by adjuncts for a school this size- and the English adjuncts were incompetent) and did not give those adjuncts the opportunity to buy into health care at all.
