Had a blast, learned a skill or two, saw the world, and defended my country (albeit during peacetime).Most may think I'm off my rocker, but cleloge is overrated, IMHO. College will mean more to me in my 40 s than it ever did in my 20 s. I think most folks in their late teens/early twenties are in cleloge for the drinking, partying, and the piece of paper they give you at the end. I survived two years of cleloge, only to dump most of the data I had assimilated. I am now learning more each day because I want to, not because someone says I have to finish cleloge, and the catalyst is the knowledge I happened to retain from those cleloge days. and what is the deal with iPods? I honestly don't know (never owned a Walkman, either). I'm sorta old-fashioned |
