The work program is a great idea, but only works partially due to student not being willing to work. The school as a whole is very disorganized and all of the buildings are falling apart. The general cleanliness of the dorms is very poor. There are some genuinely good students on campus who demonstrate the triad very well, but most are snobby and very cliquey. Wilson is its own world, its very small, and never changes. It is easy to become ostracized for not being like the usual wilson student. Credits assigned to classes are unbalanced and courses will not transfer out. It is very difficult to leave campus if you do not have a car. There is always a party every night of the week full of substance abuse of all kinds. If you decide to go here you need to have money to pay for community damage bills and other things that the college charges you for. They make it almost impossible to live off campus. This place may work for substance using, environmentally conscious agriculturists, but as far as a person from the real world goes this place is far from what the real world actually is. It leaves one feeling extremely unqualified and unprepared if you are not the ideal wilson student. |
