DO NOT GO TO OGLETHORPE UNIVERSITY IF YOU CONSIDER YOURSELF A HETEROSEXUAL NORMAL PERSON!!!! I can not express in words how much I hate this school. For the love of God read this and heed my warning.

I was a happy, 18 year old, fresh out of high school kid who could not have been more optimistic about college. I was so excited to attend what I at the time considered a prestigious and welcoming college community. I could not have been more wrong. Two years at this shitty piece of shit school has turned me into the most negative and pessimistic person, and I can not even look at myself in the mirror anymore.

Oglethorpe has robbed me of my first two years of college, and thankfully I am one of the few with the resources to transfer out, as this school makes transferring out almost impossible. It almost seems as if they want to break your spirit and suck every last penny out of you to keep you from transferring, as it is veryyyy expensive and I am fortunate I am able to afford this.

First off, I consider myself a fairly bright and intelligent young man, and I pride myself on my school work. The professors at Oglethorpe are extremely challenging and only care about their personal reviews, and care nothing about your grades, which is why so many people here have terrible GPA's. I worked my ass off and only squeaked a 3.4. Anywhere else, and I am confident I would have made a 4.0. Additionally, the CORE curriculum here does not transfer out anywhere, so you literally lose 40 credit hours over the course of your college career if you do attempt to transfer out…which is a lot.

Moving on to the social life, every girl here is sooooooooooooooo ugly. Do not let anyone convince you otherwise. There are no girls here. If you choose to attend this shit hole, you will become asexual for 4 years. This is a fact. I was in SAE there, and let me tell you, you will have no social life. If you think you do, you are a fool or you are gay.

The only positive thing about this school is that it is surrounded by the great city of Atlanta, which has nothing to do with the school. Please heed my warning and do not go here.
