The school does a great job of telling you about the fun things you could have done last week. They are terrible at getting the information to you in time for you to attend an event. It really is a great way for the school to save money. Free BBQ yesterday! And since no one showed up, it cost the school nothing but they can claim that they held an event for students. Funny how I never learn of the good stuff, but the school manages to send hundreds of e-mails and letters to my home reminding me to donate to the university after I graduate. I will NEVER donate to this school and it upsets me that they think I should. The school has never included me in any of their events, so I will not include them in my money. The registrars office…incompetent would be a step-up for them. I took classes at a community college for my EMT and Paramedic licenses. CWU offers an EMT program, but would not count them as transfer credit because they were taken at a community college and not a university. The head of the EMT program went to bat for me because I had the credentials to teach the class. That did not matter to the registrar. The will only accept credits from a university. They denied me the credits causing me to have to re-take classes. After dealing with them, I understand why people go on shooting sprees at colleges. |
