I am an alumnus of Syracuse. I graduated at the height of the student unrest of the early 70s. I was the poorest kid on campus and I was on full scholarship. Despite these issues it was the best experience of my life! Socially things there now are the way they used to before my time. But there was a lot that is the same. Academically it was challenging but not overly so. A lot of some of the negative comments are true b

ut you will get used to the weather right away, you will make great friends and you will get a great education. It also is great for your resume!

I love to go back and reminisce except for feeling like an old lady who doesn't belong there—the way Iooked at the adult alums during my school years ;)
