This school is very george Orwellian (1984 reference). They're starting to correct the words people use (kinda like in the book 1984). For example, students are required to call dorms 'residence halls' because it sounds "nicer." If you say dorms people, mostly the RA's, will make a point to correct you.

The RA's here are required to like stalk their residents too. Its quite strange…they record who you talk to, how late you stay up, when you goto dinner, your religion etc and report it in. Its very george orwellian here.

The academics are VERY challenging here. HOWEVER, the acceptance rate to this school is also very high allowing underachievers in. Why is this so? This school doesnt offer anything but an education (and shoddy dorms). No school spirit, lame parties, bad sports teams, no social life (everyone stays in), etc.

Im glad i transferred from this school even though it gave a good education, it lacked in many many other areas and was a bit too 'big brother' for me.

Not to mention this school is not going anywhere but down. The academics remain high but the ACCEPTANCE RATE IS HIGH SINCE NO ONE WANTS TO GO HERE AND THEY ARE DESPERATE FOR STUDENTS. its very rare you run into a bright student, who isn't JUST book smart.
