I transferred in from a state school wanting a Christian environment but what I got was, in reality, a lot of fake people who could be totally different than what they make themselves out to be. I was not pleased with the student life here BUT there are a few genuine students. You just have to find them. The business department could be the best program at this school. They are very helpful and willing to work with you to understand concepts. The professors in the accounting department really do want you to succeed and take a personal interest in finding you a job after school. They have many "Meet the Firms" days where you can personally talk with different companies about their accounting positions. I think the only thing that this program is lacking is the AACSB accredidation and the only reason I would not go back to this school.Final points on the accounting program:Federal Tax I will definitely be the hardest class you have ever taken in your life - will prepare you for CPAPrepare to learn a lot in Intermediate Acct IIChristian Business Ethics will blow your mind (most interesting class offered) |
