The Military Science Department staff are rude, especially the assistant commandant's secretary. The supply staff can't stick to their posted hours to save their life. The residence halls that the cadets are required to stay in are poorly built; less than five years old and they look like they are fifteen. The dining hall (Chow) closes at 8pm on weekdays. So if you are on the expensive meal plan, that is required if you are part of the corps, then you are SOL. This school has a parking services staff that pays for itself in the amount of tickets it gives out. Now North Georgia has some nice points, if you can get away from the Corps. You can't beat the view of Dahlonega and the mountains that surround it. The AT is right on-top of you and Hellen is a short drive away. The teachers and chow hall staff are nice and welcoming. If you are interested in the army North Georgia's appeal is the guarantee of active duty when you contract. |
