Wow where do I start! I love Morris. It is nice and small so everything is individual based. If you are worried about a small campus being boring, I have to be honest and say that it is what you make it. I am involved in many programs and clubs so I find that stuff to do is usually not a problem. There is a place to go bowling in town and all sorts on neat little shops (the towns people are really nice!). The wind turbine, the gardens, and the green house are popular places to go during the day or night. On slow days I watch movies or go on walks with friends. There are lots of parties to go to for people who enjoy that. If you do not drink (like me) you will have no problem finding others who do not either. Everyone on campus is really open and willing to help. The professors are great people who want you to succeed. I was out most of a semester because of health problems and the art faculty went out of there way to to make sure I was able to complete the semester. The botanical gardens are beautiful as is the rest of campus. One thing to be aware of is that winters can be brutal on the prairie, but it brings everyone together. I hope this is helpful to you! |
