They claim to have routine meetings with the intended nursing students to keep you in the loop on your status in the program. It's a joke. I went to all meetings all year long and not once was told I had to retake a lab class where I received a c + in my first semester. I ended up with a solid gpa and made deans list only to be told after the end of the year that I had to retake a lab, and if I was lucky enough to pass, would only be considered for a wait list the following spring, if there was room in the program. Imagine my surprise when I opened my deans list congrats letter. Apparently being on the deans list is not good enough. The lack of communication in this department is cause for serious concern. When I appealed this decision, I was told the nursing director was no longer in her role and bolted for a trip abroad for the summer, leaving no one behind who cared to hear my appeal. Do yourself a favor and avoid this school you'll be very disappointed! |
