I majored in Biology. Some other comments have stated that the classes are a joke or easy. This may be true in other majors, but the science program is very challenging. The science professors are fantastic. Nearly all professors in my department had an open door policy for meeting with them outside of class. All of the professors were incredibly dedicated. In my major I spent a great deal of time in the Chemistry department as well. Both departments went above and beyond. The classes are taught by people who are truly passionate about their subject and want to share that passion with their students. As a hard science major, it can be difficult to find the time to study abroad, but EC was incredibly flexible with credit transfer. If you'd like an abroad experience EC has a TON of them. I spent a summer and a semester abroad. The International Study Dept is great. My experiences at EC directly led to my receipt of a Fulbright Grant. The Bio and Chem departments prepared me well for my MCAT. I've been accepted to the medical school of my choice. I could not have asked for more from the school. |
