First of all: HIRE MORE ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF AND FACULTY! Else move the college to a fourth world country!

I really tried to get involved into the campus activities and social life at NOVA. Being friendly, polite and outgoing doesn't really help here, but oh being an ignorant fool totally does (if your main aim here is to just get whatever degree or credits and waste two years of your REAL life). The student activity center is a complete joke and all they care about is, well junk food and money.

Some professors (basic level biology class, I had to take them as my science electives) were pretty good, but the rest were complete airheads! They'd just read off slides and textbooks and give you super easy multiple choice questions , so it's easier for them to grade, and so that the majority of the students in class (who are between 30-40 years in age) just give them a good review online. (My economics teacher was nice though.)

You have to really hate yourself to attend this school
