As a returning adult, retired US Army Veteran, and parent, I must say I was truly disappointed. The university lacks the competitive spirit it takes to be a quality educational program. The faculty and staff are of a "Good Ole Boy" system, rather than an institution focused on quality education. The town and community of Tahlequah is small town, students do not have the ability for quality life experiences or to have a part time job due to the lack of both. The town is collapsing and falling apart. Most students will spend their time partying due to boredom because of the lack of student activities. I am leaving this school to attend a better university where I will get a quality education for the money I spend. Do not send your child to this University or choose to attend! You are better off spending a bit more money for an education you will need to succeed in your career.
